‘Orion’s Door’ is a big book that covers a vast subject. Its subtitle is ‘Symbols of consciousness & blueprints of control-the story of Orion’s influence over Humanity’.
Neil Hague is a writer, an artist and a speaker on mythology and symbolism. His art has a metaphysical aspect to it and goes well with this issue of Hermes main theme; esoteric art. Neil’s art style has been described as ‘neo-shamanic’ as he portrays other worlds, other consciousnesses and other ways to view this world and humanity’s role in it.
Anyone who has read Neil’s previous books such as ‘Through Ancient Eyes’ and ‘Journeys in the Dreamtime’ will be aware that Neil is a thorough researcher and that he has been on this path for many years.
I found this book exhilarating, having been following these subjects myself for some years I had thought that I was up to date on my knowledge of Orion but this book showed that there was much more to learn about and ponder upon as Neil took me on a journey to Orion and back.
The ‘Orion’s Door’ is a compendium of hidden knowledge that looks at the origins of humanity and its fall from grace. It covers subjects that seem diverse but are actually connected, a full A-Z from Aeons to the Zohar, the book is illustrated throughout as it tackles what some would think were heretical ideas and brings them round in a gnostic thought process as Neil picks apart symbology and as he delves deep into mythology.
The book makes us question what is reality as he deconstructs occult and esoteric and mystical traditions and explains what they really are about. He takes us on a journey to show us the ways things have changed within us humans from the spiritual to the biological to the coming robotic. Neil writes “…the ‘rise of the robots’ is juxtaposed with humanity ‘falling down the frequencies’ from a higher level of awareness, to a lower perception witnessed too often today.”
The author takes us on an adventure through ancient myths and cultures, how they have been manipulated and retold through the last millennia and then he brings us up to date with modern times, including the current 2020 events. His insights into the mythology and history of humanity are much needed in this day where spirituality seems to be on the decline and few people want to look too deeply into their species progress.
Neil writes in the book: “Our highest power is our ability to reshape our destiny, create our own realities and move between different dimensions of thought. All of this takes place through our personal creativity, our process of self-discovery and our ability to laugh and play in the playground called Earth!”
This book is an urgent rallying cry to people to see what is actually going on with humanity’s evolution, or lack of it. This planet and the people on it are in a crisis. Each page in the book has a surprising revelation as Neil goes beyond mainstream thinking, and in this year, we do need to do that.
‘Orion’s Door’ is an encyclopaedia of esoteric knowledge and the author has done an excellent job in reminding us who we are and what we are and our role on this planet and in the solar system.
‘Orion’s Door’ is now available, published by Quester Publications in August 2020.
